Yes, that is Jason behind the plate as Ump…brought back some old memories for him…Jake says “Daddy, why were you the empire?”
It was a LONG game…after three and a half hours, New Cumberland Blue came out on top of a 27-20 game…
Waiting for the rest of the crew…
Jake and his pals with the Dutch Wonderland Prince and Princess…Thank you to all who celebrated with us…it was a beautiful day and fun was had by all…
Happy 7th Birthday Jake!

We continue to feel the aging process knowing we now have a 2nd and 5th grader! Ahhhh!!!
Jo wasn’t sure about the “tiny horsey" – she needed her daddy to protect her as she checked him out…

Great trip with the family…can’t wait to do it again!
Beatles + The White Family + The Lewis Family = Strawberry Fields Forever!
We had a lot of fun picking Strawberries with the Lewis family!
We thought we got a little carried away, but they are almost gone already! Jen decided to throw her apron on, become domestic and busted out a Strawberry Pie!
Thanks Lewis Family for a great afternoon!
So much to blog about this trip…we all had a great time!
Fractured Prune for breakfast…YUM! So many flavors…so much fat…so good!
We had lots of pool/beach time even though the water felt like it had ice cubes floating in it…kids didn’t care…
The Ocean City Air Show was also this past weekend…which showed how tough our son is…he was deathly afraid of the Thunderbirds and thought the Golden Knights were going to land on him. Seeing him dive into his sand foxhole and cover his head as a plane flew over was PRICELESS!
Pretty sure that our Surry Ride down the Boardwalk topped it all! Five of us in a Surry, but only three peddlers…where was our “man peddler” when we needed him? Joey beeped at those who got in our way…
It was the last game of the season and Joey wanted to be like her big brother. She loudly and proudly sported Jake’s uniform from last year (anything to be like her brother!)
Jake plans to teach his little sis everything he knows…
How freakin’ cute are they?
Look at that form…he plans to go on to the Majors…
And he’s off…
Proud sister cheering him on (she likes to wear his hat while he’s batting.)
Jacob proclaimed today as Hershey’s birthday…so we went with it…13th birthday…Who knows?
While Jake was at school, mommy and Joey baked a cake…then Jake decided he needed a hat…so we constructed a hat…and I am pretty sure Hershey enjoyed the hat! We sang Happy Birthday and everything…
See the below video and you will know where Jacob has gotten his singing skills from! THAT’S MY BOY!!
Shortly after the kids were in bed, Jacob came out crying…he couldn’t sleep…he was sad because he doesn’t want Hershey to die…. : (
Boy’s best friend or dog’s best friend?
